• Turned off Electric Power Steering - now default is turned off. To turn this on you will need to change the acd file. Open the /data_extra/EPS_on folder, and place this dile in the root folder of the car. Be sure to rename the original acd file in case you want to switch back.

Presenting Darche 992 LHM Champion Edition. Car, used by Laurin Heinrich for training and preparations on his way to 2024 IMSA GTD Pro championship win, now available for everyone and offers unmatched experience.

Physics has been completely revised, utilizing real data, heaps of documentation, telemetry and direct input from Laurin himself. Thanks to CPHYS framework we've been able to reproduce car handling down to smallest details, from matching all G-forces (acceleration, braking, side Gs) and roll/pitch/yaw rates and other chassis movement metrics to smallest handling quirks and car reactions to setup changes.

No compromises were made to ensure accuracy in all aspects of it's implementation: matching suspension kinematics along with per-click accurate 5-way adjustable dampers and brand new tyre compounds provide great mechanical platform, updated aerodynamics allow it to perform just as great at higher speeds, improved electronic systems will help in mitigating rowdy character of this beast and cherry on top - chassis flex, brings this championship winning simulation to life. Naturally, car comes with updated BoP. While chasing lap times is not something we consider a definitive metric due to how volatile and depending on outside factors it could be (with different track conditions, air temperatures, atmospheric pressure etc real lap times can vary solid 1-4 seconds in a span of one morning), we still made it fit into performance window with rather harsh measures, reflecting those of 2024 IMSA series.

Car also received substantial visual upgrades with many new details and materials, dash has been updated to replicate real one as close as possible and logic of LED lights signaling for wheels lock, slip and TC intervention has been corrected.

Other changes include:

• New Tyres including two compounds to match two of the popular brand specs in the real world cars racing today.
• BOP Update to match all current GT3 cars URD offers. Matching real world speeds and laptimes as verified by our IMSA Champion Laurin Heinrich
• New Position display in the front windshield. 

IMPORTANT: Car now requires CSP version 0.2.3 or newer, as version 0.2.3 brought important physics fixes that made this update possible in the first place.

Darche 992 GT3 steps over the boundary of vanilla physics limitations and is
powered by CPHYS framework included in Custom Shaders Patch. This makes
CSP of version 0.1.79 or higher a HARD requirement to be able to run this car.

We've been able to collect an immense amount of data for this car which
allowed us to metculously recreate this wonderful machine down to smallest
details like individual brake piston diameters.

Full list of features includes but not limited to use of aero maps, factory accurate
dampers, tyres with advanced contact and true to life heating models,
engine maps allowing to play with fuel economy at the expense of power,
realistic brakes with adjustable brake ducts, two-stage traction control and
many other smaller things, making this THE ultimate GT3 car in Assetto Corsa.
